The 7 Chakras
1 Muladhara - It is the root chakra, responsible for survival. It is linked to the most primordial instincts. Relationships with fear and compulsive behaviors. Receives energy from Earth.
2 Svadisthana - Also called Sacral or umbilical. It is linked to relationships, emotions and sexuality. It works with the identification with emotional states and with the associations we make according to our understanding.
3 Manipura - Also called the solar plexus, this chakra reflects the subject's understanding and its notion of identity. When out of balance it can show the cult of personality and misleading associations regarding identity or persona.
4 Anahata - Heart chakra, linked to the opening of the being with the reality that surrounds it. The lower the reaction state of the being, the more fluid this chakra will be.
5 Visuddha - Throat chakra, usually associated with the "expression of truth". It is important to see that this truth is not the personal truth. In fact there is no such thing, as "personal truth", what we call as personal truth its only of psychological relevance. The truth we speak of its the absolute, existential truth. In order to express this, we can only do it from a place of clarity, typical of other chakras.
6 Ajna - Clarity of vision, see things as they are. No personal preferences or tastes that try to override the existential truth. Also called the Third Eye.
7 Sahasrara - Crown chakra as it is said in the west. Just as Muladhara represents the connection to the earth, it represents the connection to the Universe. When we say "represents" it is not figurative it is a real connection. This connection with the universe is the connection with intelligence or what several people have called God or the Divine.
