MSM is the acronym for Methylsulfonylmethane, a chemical compound naturally present in the body, but also in plants and animals. It has been proven to be able to reduce the recurrent effects and pain of inflammation, improve the living conditions of people with arthrosis (osteoarthritis), respiratory allergies, reduce the effects of stress and cellular oxidation, improving the body's antioxidant response.
These are just some of the benefits of supplementing your diet with this compound that is so essential to the body's proper functioning and to which we sometimes have little access.
MSM has also been proven to be an agent that improves the functioning of the digestive system and the absorption of nutrients, having a detox action in the body that helps improve metabolic function.
However, it is not only internally that you see the results of MSM supplementation, but also topically as it decreases the depth of facial wrinkles, improving the skin's firmness, tone and texture.
It also improves and accelerates post-exercise muscle recovery and is therefore a supplement for all ages and different levels of activity, with vast benefits and potential to improve your well-being.
If you also want to improve your body's MSM levels through your diet, look for the following foods: apples, broccoli, corn, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, watercress, lentils, beans and eggs.
