1. Bergamot Oil

  • Use diluted in Fractionated Coconut Oil if you have sensitive skin.

2. Chamomile Oil

  • Add 2 drops of Chamomile Oil and 2 drops of Lavender Oil to a spray with water and apply to irritated skin.

3. Cinnamon Oil

The Cinnamon Essential Oil is incredible to treat bacterial infections thanks to one of its most prevalent components, cinnamaldehyde. This compound is present only in Cinnamon and in a good essential oil such as that of dōTERRA has a concentration of 55 to 76%. Which makes it very effective on skin problems like acne or rashes.

4. Clove Oil

The Clove essential oil contains eugenol a strong antiseptic, and is an antimicrobiotic and natural antifungal. Excellent for bacterial skin problems such as athlete's foot or other types of skin fungus. The oil is also good for sore throat, sinusitis, asthma and colds.

  • Dilute 1 drop in 60 to 80 ml of Fractionated Coconut and apply to the affected area. Helps in the healing and recovery process of the skin.

5. Eucalyptus Oil

This oil deserves a mention in this list because it is an excellent antibacterial. It is suitable for soothing and disinfecting small wounds and cuts. Eucalyptus Essential Oil is also indicated to relieve chickenpox symptoms as it speeds up the healing process.

  • Mix 2 drops in 100 ml of Cider Vinegar and apply to cuts or scrapes.

6. Lavender Oil

Known for its calming properties, Lavender Essential Oil is also good for the skin as an antibacterial agent. It is especially good for insect bites, scratches, scraped skin and eczema. Its nature is soothing to both the nervous system and your skin, helping to speed up cell recovery.

  • Apply directly to the skin to treat sunburn or other hot surfaces burns and eczema.

7. Lemongrass

  • Mix 2 to 3 drops of Clove Oil with 2 drops of Eucalyptus Oil in a small container or bowl with hot water (only to the point where the feet are submerged) to help treat athlete's foot. Leave for at least 15 minutes, mixing the water and reaching the affected area.

  • If you have athlete's foot, place 2 to 5 drops of the oil in hot water (only to the point where your feet are submerged) and soak your feet for at least 15 minutes.

9. Peppermint Oil

The Peppermint Essential Oil is good to relieve skin conditions like acne and dry skin and has toning properties.

  • Dilute to Fractionated Coconut Oil and apply wherever you want to feel the freshness of Peppermint. It is good for recovering the skin and accelerating healing. Don't apply pure near the eyes.

10. Tea Tree Oil

It is one of the most suitable oils to use in skin, hair and nail problems due to its therapeutic and anti-inflammatory properties. It is good for dry skin and to treat eczema, skin irritations, infections, cuts and to aid in the healing of the skin. Learn more about Tea Tree Essential Oil.

  • Can be used pure, like Lavender, directly on the skin problem.
  • Or mix with a small stem of aloe vera (crushed), 6 drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil, 6 to 10 drops of Vitamin E and 60 to 100 ml (2 to 3.38 oz) of Fractionated Coconut Oil and make a paste to apply directly to the affected area.
